Hi all. New to the group and new boat owner. I recently bought a second hand Boston Whaler 13 Sport. I am going to retrofit her for scuba and have been looking at some pictures of other 13-footers. Where I can go to get replacement seats for her? I am interested in obtaining an original or after market seat like the one that was originally installed in the 1980's era SUPER SPORT 13. If anyone can provide me with help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Gordon ASIDE: Give me a How-To to post some pictures on my boat here so I can get some ID help |

Welcome and congratulations on your boat. You have found the right site to gather information. I assume you used the "reference and cetacea" listed on the home page for model history, configuration and pictures as well as the search function for similar topics. Pictures have to be hosted via a photo-share site. You then will be able to post a link to the pictures by putting the site address between the following: Then people will be able to chime in. If you're not already in one, these picture sites are free. Good Luck-Bret |

CONTINUOUSWAVE does generally not host image files or permit in-line images to be included in the discussions. You are welcome to host images on public image hosting websites and give a uniform resource indicator to them. Are you looking for a laminated seat or a wooden seat for your classic Boston Whaler 13-footer? |

Hi Jim and Bret, Thanks for the info. I will post the picture I took on one of the sites and add the link. Jim I am looking for a seat like the one pictured in the sixth image at the reference link http://continuouswave.com/whaler/reference/13/models.html In fact I might think about replacing the entire interior to match that image if I could find a company that made such and it wasn;t going ot cost me more than I padi for my boat Also, can one of you tell me how to set my setting so I can add html for the link? Right now it says HTML is off. This is what I have been able to determine about my boat to date: Model: Boston Whaler 13 Sport Stencil #: 2E6090 Serial Number: BWCM2201A888 Manufactured in January 1988, (I think). Motor: Evinrude 28 SPL Model number E28ESLCCR manufactured in 1988, (I think this is the original motor) I have ordered a maintenance and repair guide for the motor. Now I am trying to find a owner's manual for the Whaler as well as a wood diagram. I saw some in the reference section, but haven't found one that it for my year. My trailer is a home built that I bought when I got the Whaler as the guy I bought the boat from kept it in the water and didn't have a trailer. I'm trying to find one that more closly matches what the Whaler sold with, but that can be kind of hard to do in Hawaii. Regards, Gordon |

Gordon--I believe you are inquiring about where you can purchase replacement wooden interior seating for a classic Boston Whaler SUPER SPORT 13. You can purchase a replacement wooden interior for a Boston Whaler SUPER SPORT 13 from Nautical Lumber. I highly recommend them. They have a website whose uniform resource indicator is I have personally visited Nautical Lumber and seen their facility. Their work is excellent. |

Gordon, Give Mike at www.NauticalLumber.com a call. I can not recommend his work enough. High quality craftsmanship and show quality finishes. Same price as everyone else and all of Nautical Lumbers goods are hand built in by Mike at his shop here in Metro Detroit. Raw lumber comes in, finished products go out. There is something nice about buying hand made American made products. |

Gordon there are always several on ebay, some are already finished some are not. If you search ebay motors for boston whaler you will find more things than you could even guess you need including complete seat sets. |
