I have my [2008 Boston Whaler 240 OUTRAGE] on Crystal Lake in northern Michigan. I need advice on the best boat hoist to use. [How can I find] one for sale?

Shore Station brand hoists are the most popular. But there are other brands around.
First thing to do is figure out how much your boat weighs so you get a hoist that is plenty big enough.
Used hoists are advertised on craigslist in northern Michigan or in the Traverse City Record Eagle, usually in spring and some months.
You are going to need a fairly big hoist so you might want to find one of the local dealers.

Use MARKETPLACE to post a notice of wanted-to-buy. However, as Con mentions, you are much more likely to find a suitable boat hoist for sale locally in your lake area. A used boat hoist probably does not get moved very far, at least not by the usual freight shipment methods.
