I have been converting my 1985 sport 15' whaler to a super sport with the seat backs and small storage container this winter. A whole new interior is in with no holes cut yet. I have every thing done except the steering setup. I have found out that the steering wheel mounts in a different place on the supersport console than the sport. making it seem real low and difficult to sit comfortably. The original set up calls for front of the console mount but I am wondering if there is a better way without rebuilding a whole new console..maybe a tilt NFB or a different set up on top of the console. anyone run into this or have any ideas.

If yours is like this then your right, a little to low.

I would have preferred to it be near the top of this console.
