ehwilliams3	posted 03-10-2009 08:33 PM ET (US)         I have just come into possesion of a 1969 Sport 13 hull. The hull is in good shape along with all the origional wood seats and consol. The boat needs everything else: motor, helm, fuel system, etc. My question is, where do I start? Motor first, then all the controls systems?
cgodfrey	posted 03-11-2009 03:06 AM ET (US)             Welcome Pick a motor first. The rest of those items qualify as accessories that will depend on the motor. Resist the urge to ask "What's the best motor setup for an old 13?". There's no right answer. CG
Tohsgib	posted 03-11-2009 10:05 AM ET (US)             Steering is universal along with the battery, gas tank and line. Everything else depends on what brand of engine you buy. Many smaller engines(30hp and under) come with most of what you need...or at least they did in the past(controls, tank, prop, etc).
