[What are] the correct interior and exterior gel coat colors for my 1989 SuperSport 15 hull? I think there are two separate colors, one being Desert Tan, but they look the same to me. I'm sure this has been asked more than once, but I don't seem to be able to come up with a combination of search terms that find the answer. Ijust want to make sure I order the right patch kit(s). Thanks.

I just ordered the "Desert Tan" for my 1989 Striper 15. I think it is the same color all over. Now the original gelcoat was a bit washed out just from years of weathering, so the patch paste didn't match perfectly.
Maybe the hull looks like a different color because it is not exposed to as much direct sunlight as the top side, and over the years different areas faded differently.

The 1989 15 footers were Desert Tan inside and out.

Thanks guys, Desert Tan it is! I thought I'd read the inside and outside were different, and at my age I don't trust my eyes that much anymore.

From the early 1970s until 1984, the small (< 17') Whalers were Desert Tan on the inside but Outrage Grey on the outside.
Starting in 1984, the small Whaler were molded Desert Tan both inside and out.
