aesiegel	posted 04-06-2009 09:08 PM ET (US)         I have recently purchased an Outrage 24 with twin Merc 200 EFI motors. I don't get any warning horn test when I turn either ignition switch to run. Is there way to test the system? Since I don't get the test horn on either motor I may try an replace the horn itself. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. --Ed
jimh	posted 04-06-2009 11:01 PM ET (US)             On most Mercury motors that I've seen c.1980 to c.1990, when the ignition key is moved to RUN from OFF, the engine will sound its aural alert with a cadence of BEEEEEEEP BEEP BEEP or BEEEEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP (Morse code letter "D" or "B").
