I have a 1983 johnson 150 v6 (J150TLCTE).It,s hard to start and idle,s rought and smoke,s.i,v had people tell me that my fuel\mixture is way off? can this be it?And if so can you please help me with it.I,v think i,m running 50:1.thank,s Doc

Careful there Doc, inhaling two stroke smoke messes up punctuation skills. 50:1 would be the right mixture. A tuneup, carb cleaning, new plugs, synch and link can do wonders for an old Johnson. Start with a compression test first.
