Commish	posted 05-21-2009 02:03 AM ET (US)         Shopping for a new(er) 10hp four stroke kicker motor. Main engine is a Merc 150 Optimax. Boat is a 19' Nantucket (Outrage). Any advice on brand of motor and how best to mount the thing on my boat. Does it work well to use a link arm between the kicker and main engine for steering? Thx in advance for any suggestions!
68 WhaleR	posted 05-21-2009 09:45 AM ET (US)             there is a thread on here somewhere of a guy that went with a 8hp motor with tilt, remote start on a outrage and it pushed him really well. I am thinking of doing this in the future as my main engine Yamaha 150 from 1984 if it runs again will most likly drink lots of fuel. But for no wake zones and just motoring around the little 8hp would be great!
