Well I made the leap from my 19 Nantucket to the 210 Outrage with the 200 Verado. I am now stuck however and need some advise. When it came to trolling on the Nantucket I added a panther marine bracket, Electrosteer, and a four stroke 9.9 mercury and everything was good. Now I have the 210 and I have not found any suggestions on how to rig it for slow trolling live bait. I am not stuck on gas, electric would be ok but the bow mounted elec. is a no go because of the anchor roller and the rails. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have just put a Yamaha 9.9 high thrust on my 210 2006 for both trolling and as a backup power.

Never considered electical as it's not realistic in a get you home sceanario for salt water use.

Steve

Here a link to probably the best article on kicker mounting

http://continuouswave.com/whaler/reference/yamahaT8Kicker.html

This is my original thread

I've just uploaded some pics for you

http://s707.photobucket.com/albums/ww76/SJUAE/Kicker/

The project is not finished still waiting on my dual control to come and the 10mm tie bar I used was not big enough and so I have just got a 16mm one made this week to replace it.

In the pics is also the seastar/telflex mounting that would be neater IMO

You can also see Dave (dschedgick) bracket for his 9.9 merc thats a lot simpler than my one.

regards
Steve
