cc378	posted 06-24-2009 01:58 PM ET (US)      I have a 10 year old Yamaha 150 fuel Injected motor that starts fine, runs great mid-range and above but stalls when you first put it into gear and run it at slow speeds. Any thoughts on what I should consider? thanks

outragesteve	posted 06-24-2009 04:59 PM ET (US)             From experience, dirty or clogged injectors usually cause a major problem @ higher RPM's. An injector that is partially open might cause a "flooding" problem in a cylinder at lower RPM's. I would try seafoam or other cleaners. With the use of ethanol fuel here in Hawaii I have found many bad injectors. They are usually pricey to replace and pretty easily cleaned and tested. Brucato offers this service, amoung others. NorthShoreWhaler	posted 06-25-2009 08:34 AM ET (US)             I have late 80's twin 150 yamahas on my Outrage. One would run perfect but mintues later cave in the primer bulb and stall out. I took apart the fuel line near the internal fuel filter (under the motor cover)and cleaned out the line. Worked pefectly after that.
