I have a 15 cc with the cooler in front of the console.I was riding in a regular 15 the other day and noticed how useful the forward thwart seat is and was thinking about putting one in front of the console instead of the cooler.I dont know if this would be good or bad or look stupid.Has anyone got an opinion or seen this done? thanks

The 15 CC in the Reference section here at CW has a front thwart. I don't think it looks bad, but you'd need to step over it to get to the bow - that may or may not be an issue for you. I have a SuperSport15, so the idea of stepping over a thwart doesn't bother me.

grogden- I had a 15 center console that was laid out just as you describe. I notched the front rails so that you could slide a front thwart seat in, or use the cooler instead. Here is a link to pics:
