I am replacing the E-Z-Loader trailer for my 16SL. I am considering an aluminum bunk trailer but have heard that galvanized might be a better option. [Give] advice [on the choice of galvanized steel or aluminum as the material for the frame of a trailer for a Boston Whaler 16SL boat,] and where to find a trailer here in Milwaukee.

Steel weighs more than aluminum but generally is stronger.

Aluminum's strength should be sufficient for a 16-foot boat trailer. Aluminum costs more than steel.
