For anyone who is interested here is a link to some photos of the tabs and filter [installation on a Boston Whaler 180 DAUNTLESS]. Over the winter I had my local Boston Whaler dealer installed the tabs and filter. It was nice to [hear] that they thought a primary fuel-water separator was a great idea

Nice trim tabs! Do you find they are more helpful in trimming an 18 foot boat than merely using the engine trim?

They did on my Sea Hunt, I'll be splashing the boat Saturday, 1st time with the tabs on. I'll do a follow up.

I'm glad the Dauntless now has tabs. The boat is now in MD, the bay had a real nice chop and a northwest wind gusting to 25. The tabs were a big improvement holding nose down and lowering my planing speed. I'm back to a 3 bladed prop

Your photographs are excellent and show the installation in detail. Thank you for posting them.

Are those LED lamps on the transom?

Thanks Jim

Yes they are http://www.coastalnightlights.com/
Chris makes a great product at a very nice price. The lights are VERY bright, yet draw very little amps. Mine are green with the wire out the top. I applied them with a thin bead of 3M5200. He also sells them with the wire out the back if you want to rig it thru hull.
