I painted a garden bench will Teak Oil before Christmas but it still has not set. Anybody got a idea how to remove this oil?

describe the term "painted".

Teak oil is typically rubbed on with a cloth dampened with oil - not painted on with a brush. Several layers are applied in this fashion until the wood can no longer soak additional oil. Then you polish the excess oil out, which also brings the finish on the wood to a dull shine.

Acetone will remove the oil. I know some people say never to use acetone nor other thinners on wood but I have never had a problem with it. If you are willing to try something instead of removing it with a stripper, get heavy terricloth rag and polish the unset oil to a smooth finish. It takes elbow grease but will provide you with a nice finish.
