CdnWhalerGuy	posted 06-16-2010 04:26 PM ET (US)         1983 Outrage 18, with a 1999 Mercury Optimax 150. I am going to upgrade the current mechanical steering system to a Seastar Hydraulic System. I have the Seastar Helm (1.7) and the Seastar Hydraulic Ram (HC 5435); I am wondering what length of seastar hydraulic hose I should order? And any other advice on performing this modification/upgrade would be appreciated. Thanks, Phil
FISHNFF	posted 06-16-2010 09:47 PM ET (US)             I believe it is 18'. I also have an 18 Outrage, and wish to replace my hoses to the Kevlar reinforced ones. I did a search prior, and I found that 18' are the ones. FISHNFF
