My 1992 19' Outrage II is built with a molded-in console and a seat/leaning post base. I have two seats, no leaning post, and when sitting on them I feel like a little kid, my feet don’t touch the deck. There is a molded-in recessed foot rest in the console but that is for use with the leaning post.

I see where Birdsall Marine has a folding foot rest that attaches to the console for $200. Any other ideas out there?

I grew up with Bobby Birdsall jr. and anything they touch is absolutely first class. I had there rocket launcher/leaning post on our Pursuit and the foot rest is way comfortable when "cadalac'in" from one fishing spot to the next on a calm day.

So, I purchased some stainless 7/8 in tubing and some stanchion bases and 90 degree elbows. Cost about $60.

Meridan-

That is a great solution. I may need to duplicate it for my Outrage 17 console.

Well done!
