I'll be replacing all the woodwork in my 1971 Nauset this winter. I'll be building the new seat or church pew, new console, and ew front seat out of solid teak and teak plywood. Where should I use glue in the assembly of these components? Where should I not? I'll be using WEST SYSTEM epoxy. Any other tips are welcome also. Thanks, Sam.

System Three T-88 structural epoxy is probably the best.

All the professionals use West System epoxy in my world. Good Choice.

You do know the original interior was mahogany, nothing wrong with teak though.

Original is Phillipine mahogany, but I got a deal on the teak a few years back. Some of the cleats I still lack will be Honduran mahogany after seeing what solid teak is going for. I've been fishing out of this boat since 1972. I was nine.

Pickup the manuals for whatever epoxy system you use, for best results.
