ukuslayer	posted 04-02-2011 08:52 PM ET (US)         I need to replace the throttle cables on my 1999 optimax. Anyone know which cables I should use? I have had no luck here locally and the sites I have searched don't seem to specify optimax. I can not find any numbers or markings on my existing cables so I am not sure what to buy and I want to make sure I get the right ones on the first time. They measure out to 20'. Any suggestions would be great. Aloha, Sean

contender	posted 04-03-2011 02:41 PM ET (US)             You can use any cables (Mercury, Yamaha, Morse, Teleflex) the problem is you need to make sure you have the correct ends (connections) on them or can get them. Make sure you also match the length as well,... Good luck
