I have the following two outboards needing a lower unit oil change for the winter: 2000 Mercury Optimax 225XLOP, Ser # OTO54586 1999 Mercury 200XL, Ser # 06913721 I have a couple bottles each of the following two Gear Lubes: Quicksilver High Performance Gear Lube Mercury High Performance Gear Lube+ Can I use the Quicksilver for the 1999 engine, and use the Mercury Gear Lube+ for the Optimax? Thanks!
