In the course of sprucing up the 1964 Eastport for another boating season, I found myself in need of a couple of 3/8" teak plugs to cover screw-holes in the stern seat back. Off I went to West Marine, where I purchased a little bag of 15 teak plugs for $7.99. My screw-holes are now neatly filled, and I have 13 extra teak plugs. If any reader of this forum wants or needs one or two of these plugs, email me and I'll mail them to you gratis. I'll keep a few for my own future use, but I'll never use 13 plugs, and it seems a shame for anyone else to have to shell out eight bucks for one or two tiny pieces of teak. |
