I am going to be upgrading my steering system to the Seastar steering. I was wondering if anybody knows the correct hose length I will need. My boat is a 99 Outrage II 17'. I was hoping someone will chime in who has done this to there 17' Outrage. My initial measurements lead me to believe 16' hoses. Any suggestions or comments?

use a garden hose to measure with, then measure the hose, there are some standard sizes however, if you are running the hose in a different manner or around something could change the lenght...And measure it twice...
