This [nicely done blog with photographs and narration of the restoration of a 1967 Boston Whaler 13-foot boat] is my first project, first boat, and first Boston Whaler boat. I made a ton of mistakes, learned a ton, and had a great time. [The project is] not done but is getting close. |

Thank you , Sorry I don't know why it says 13 footer in the post . Its a 16 1/ 2 foot, originally sold as a Sakonnet. |

How did you re identify the waterline. I am to that stage and cannot find that page here that gave dimensions ? Thanks, Flex |

I started 4 1/2 inches up at the stern. Then just stretched the tape to the bow till it leveled by eye. |
