I want to install a second bilge pump and need to purchase a thru hull fitting. Our local B/W can't get the fitting for at least 2 weeks. Does anyone know how thick the hull is on a 98 Conquest 21'? Perhaps I can purchase one from some other source.

I called B/W tech dept. and they directed me to their parts site. I found the whaler part number (different number than what the dealer gave me) and called the local B/W dealer with the correct part number and they had the part in stock.

I used a piece of PVC pipe and 3M sealer (forgot the name) but this white stuff is waterproof and does a great job. The whole deal was under $10.00.
I replaced the drain pipe on my 72 13 but the concept is the same.

Hmm, not sure I would recommend PVC, call Sue at Twin Cities Marine, she will have everything you need.

He's referring to a Through-Hull fitting, not a drain tube.

Trying to make a Through-Hull fitting for a bilge pump discharge out of a piece of PVC pipe is a really bad idea.

Exactly, Tom. Frankly, I don't like PVC for thru-hulls or drain tube. Give me metal.
