I am replacing the decals with Sue"s help from Twin Cities and need help.
Can anyone with a 1994 21 foot Outrage tell me what the two red lettered decals on each side of the hull, one below the fire extinguisher and one below the inspection port say?
Thanks in advance.

Why not go directly to the party making the decals? Janis, @ Magic Brush-

I am purchasing the decals from a Whaler dealer Twin Cities Marine not Magic Brush. I want to use OEM decals from Whaler.
Not taking anything away from other manufacturers. I just need someone with a similar boat to read the decals. Thanks in advance for the help.

When Boston Whaler sends a new boat from the factory to the dealer and thence to the customer, the boat hull is marked with a lot of decals that say things like:

NO DRILL
FUEL TANK BENEATH

or other various instructions for the owner or rigger to follow. I suppose there is a certain number of people who are obsessive-compulsive who will want to replace those decals in order to make their Boston Whaler boat look just like it did when new, but I do not see a lot of value in putting decals like that on the boat. On an 18-year-old boat like a c.1994 Boston Whaler, you probably already know where not to drill in the deck.

Hey jimh I asked for information not a psychiatric diagnosis. I do appreciate your juindgementalness, hostility and poor attempts at compensating for whatever is missing in your life. No wonder this forum keeps getting smaller and with less useful information. I am sorry you have these problems. I enjoy keeping my boat in whatever shape I want it to be and appreciate others who do so.

I did the same thing for my 19 outrage and Sue was able to get me everything I needed based on all of her documentation. There are some specific smooth spots in the nonskid for these decals and I think they look odd without the stickers. In the collector car market they even pay close attention to replicating inspection marks mde with a paint pen during assembly. These little touches can really make a difference to complete a project.

Sue Lodel at Twin Cities Marine buy the decals from the OEM of the decals who happens to be Janis Teagarden at Magic Brush. Magic Brush is the only authorized supplier of OE Whaler decals.

You might contact Janis an ask her what the decals are supposed to say. Her husband, Tom Johnson worked for Whaler in 1994 when your boat was built. Between the two of them, they can probably set you straight.

The decals you reference vary by model and year. I have always purchased from my local dealer. they have access to deck assembly drawings that list the various decals and show the placement. Many are now obsolete but with some work, you can locate similar verbiage on newer models.
When restoring an old whaler, this is my tenth or maybe eleventh project, the decals are critical details to a complete job.
Without these details the Classic is just another boat
