[J]ust today my 1984 [J]ohnson 35 on my 13-footer made a new noise and vibration that I have never heard or felt before on any motor. [A]t about 4/5th-FULL throttle there is a slight low pitched growl and a low frequency vibration I can feel throughout the boat; otherwise it is performing just fine. [I]s this a motor mount problem? [T]he four [motor mounts] I can see look okay, and there does not seem to be excessive play in the engine [compared to] the engine bracket. [A]ny ideas? [T]hanks.

Has the propeller been damaged?

Prop is pristine. The rumble is not prop damage. That I've heard and felt before.
