I have a 2004 150 Optimax that has been running fine until this afternoon. Put the boat in the water, used the power trim to lower the engine, turn the key and smart craft gauges were a go then I go to start and I hear a load "click" from under the cowling and then the whole thing was dead. Smartcraft gauges were dead, no power trim/tilt, nothing. I checked all the breakers, and looked at the small fuse box under the cowling and all 5 or so fuses were in good shape. I know the battery is fine as its new and worked just fine prior to the "click", and even checked all the connections and battery switch just to be sure. I'm thinking there is another fuse somewhere? Would a relay kill all power to the system? I'm at a bit of a loss on what to do at the moment besides haul it into a mechanic. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
