Try goof off, acetone, and elbow grease, use a plastic scraper let the chemicals sit for little while then try to scrape it off...good luck

Acetone won't help at all, plus it evaporates too fast. A razor blade and lots of care will get most of it off.

You can also try a hair dryer and piano wire wrapped around two sticks. Use the wire in a saw motion and you should be able to saw thru it.

Put some upward pressure on the post (use a small hydraulic jack or improvise). Use a heat gun on the glued areas, one at a time, and use some thin wire as suggested above to saw through the 5200. Eventually it will pop off, with luck it won't take too much gel coat/non-skid with it. don't be afraid to give it a fair amount of pressure with the jack.
