giortega	posted 05-06-2013 04:24 PM ET (US)         one injector engine 1999 mercury optimax 135 hp stays open and does not close and checked the injector and is working well but the injector is staying open is the number three. Anyone know who will be working wrong
RevengeFamily	posted 05-08-2013 07:07 AM ET (US)             Giortega, I understand you have a 1999 Mercury Optimax 135. Is the number 3 cylinder not working? Are you speaking of the fuel injectors or the air injectors? Both fuel and air injectors can go bad. If the engine runs rough, you may be able to have the injectors cleaned. This may repair the problem. Norm
