Has anyone purchased the above SS kicker bracket for your newer Montauks? It's the 6.5" length. I need to obtain the dims of the bracket to see if it will make a nice fit on my transom. Width, height, if possible the dims of the face of the bracket that is mated to the transom itself. I was told that the other length is 12.5" but I feel it goes to far out and puts the kicker beyond a reasonable reach thus my interest in the shorter bracket. My only concern with the shorter bracket is that the engine does not hit the top of the transom when tilted out of the water. Any input is appreciated. Thks, Fred |
