Is there a hub kit that will adapt an OMC #391290 stainless steel propeller to fit a 4.3-liter MerCruiser? My Mercury presently has a alumium propeller which I am trying to replace with the OMC #391290 propeller. The propeller fits the 15-tooth spline as is, but the thrust washer does not fit properly for pilot diameter and length.

A Mercury/Quicksilver 12-835467 1 thrust washer should work fine. This is the most common Mercury thrust washer used today so it should be easy to procure.

If your old aluminum propeller does not use a Flo-Torq II hub kit then you can reuse the castle washer and tab washer to secure the OMC propeller.

If you do not have these parts, they are 12-31211Q03 and 14-816629Q respectively.
