A friend suggested that I might have a "hook" at the stern because of several years of improper storage on a trailer. How do I tell if I have a "hook?" Will a straight edge placed along the bottom of the hull tell me anything? Any other ways this "hook" might affect performance? Thanks.

Sight down the keel from the bow and you can see the hook.. if there is one! The stern roller is usually the cause -pushes up the bottom - but the center one can also ruin a hull---
Is your engine still running at the same WOT revs or have you experienced a drop in revs?
