tspring: If you mean weight, yes, you can break your motor. You can cause it to overheat which will warp or bend the heads and cause other damage. You won't have a problem if you pay attention to the boat's rated load carrying capacity. For example a friend of mine sold a boat to an inexperienced nephew who ran the boat with a lot of water below the deck. It was so much water the boat would barely plane. The engine overheated and had to have an expensive repair. |
