Hi all

We have posted a note on this Award for Jim Hebert in the "Neo-Classics" topic section. We would appreciate it very much if you would take a minute and read it.

The reason for this section is that it receives very few hits and we are hoping this message will receive 100's, hopefully it will keep down the load time.

Thank you

Clark, Larry and Tom

Hi all just a note we have updated a couple of items regarding the Award.

If you haven't got around to reading what it's all about we would appreciate if you take the time. Please go over to the Neo Classics section to offer your support and contribution:

"Recognition Award for Continuouswave's Jim Hebert"

Thanks,

Tom, Larry and Clark

Hi all --- I know becoming a real pain!

We have about 20-21 commitments we need about 40 plus more!

If you haven't please take a moment and commitment just $25 to the Award fund for Jim Hebert ---

See lots of Post in this topic area but haven't seen a commitment from a lot of the posters!

As I mentioned we would like to get Mills busy on the canvas and wrap this up before mid-September. By the way it takes 3 to 4 weeks to make up a full set after we contract for it.

Thank you

Tom, Larry and Clark

Super folks! We have about 30 commitments as of this morning --- wow all these post will be greatly appreciated by Jim on his return as "dfmcintyre" exclaimed in his commitment statement!

Let's keep the push on --- we are on a roll let's grab some more folks and get this over the top ---

For any members who are reading this that haven't committed to Jim's award please take a moment and surf over to "Neo Classics" and do so ---

Remember this isn't about "paying" Jim one red cent this is an appreciation award for all the hard work, long hours and realization by us members " that there is no such thing as a free lunch" --- Jim has put out his own money to bring together this community of Whaler enthusiasts --- not a single commercial sponsor involved -- and your contribution to the award canvas set says "Hey Jim thank you for all you are doing and will be doing for us--- it is greatly appreciated"!

Best Regards,

Hi All,

Just an update --- we have 40 members confirmed for contributions to Jim's Award ---

We were hoping for at least 50 the first week --- then we realized it was a vacation week for a lot of folks and of course a long holiday weekend. Guess we set our sights a tad high ---

If your now just getting back from vacation or whatever do take a moment to jump over to the Neo Classics topic area and read about this special Award --- if your in agreement please make your commitment known with a short post.

Best Regards ---

Tom, Larry and Clark Roberts

Hi all --- just a quick update we only need 12 more members to commit to Jim Hebert's Special Award to place the canvas set order!

If you have been waiting --- well stop waiting take a moment and commit your $25 today --- we would love to place the canvas order this week ---- then you all won't have to put up with my updates anymore --- if nothing else that should be motivation in itself to get it done ---- chuckle chuckle ---

Just remember we're all part of this fine community of Whaler enthusiast and it's getting cold up in Michigan where Jim lives --- we sure don't want him to get sick or frostbite just because we didn't get him COVERED quick enough --- now do we --- someone has to be around to keep us Whaler folks in line and feed us regular doses of Whaler information ---- it's going to be a long winter ---- heh heh

One more thing --- Zeno's Paradox may be rephrased as follows: suppose we wish to cross the room. First, of course, we must cover half the distance. Then, we must cover half the remaining distance. Then, we must cover half the remaining distance. Then we must cover half the remaining distance . . . and so on forever. The consequence is that we can never get to the other side of the room or can we !!!

Now your saying Tom just went off the deep end --- not totally but close ---- one of our SENIOR members --- namely Kingfish --- was having a slight problem with this guy Zeno's Paradox --- so I thought I'd sort of explain it here just in case anyone else might have the same problem --- Now your saying what does this have to with Jim's Award --- you just have to take a moment and think about it ---- ha ha --- think we will dispel this paradox with the Award commitments shortly ---

That's all for now folks --- Tom ( won't credit this to Larry and Clark just my own bit of humor)
