stagalv	posted 09-13-2000 07:33 PM ET (US)         I am new to this site and wanted to throw in my part about the sweat I put into my 1978 13 Sport Whaler. I bought it for $2200 from the original owner and he had repowered in 94 with a 30HP Johnson. Since then I have made it look like new including: repair of all fiberglass imperfections, complete Imron paint, 6 coats of varnish, new OMC throttle/shifter with cables, Sunbrella bimini top, new ShoreLander trailer, BW rubrail, BW decals, BW CoastGuard capacity plate. She looks like new with the exception of a few dark spots in the 22yr old wood. I plan to move up to a 17 Montauk in the next year and do a similar restoration. Anybody know of one in the Houston area available w/out an engine? Anybody looking for a totally restored 13?
