Mercury Marine now offers two new compact trim and tilt kits that work with Mercury and Mariner outboards from 6-25 hp 2-Stroke and 9.9-15 hp FourStroke models. I am sure there is some good information on the Mercury Marine website, but, man, someone should talk to them about the URI's.Who in the world is gonna be able to use a URI like that! That is ridiculous. And it probably won't work, either, as the URI points to some session parameters that probably expire. --jimh P.S. Those long strings also screw up the field sizes in UBB, too! |

You're right. I know that except for some internal sites where I work, I had not seen one that long either. Did not realize it was that long and session dependent when copied, until I pasted it in. Wow! BTW, I found this under News/Promos under Mercury Outboards at the main www.mercurymarine.com site. Also noticed there that Mercury is running a rebate program on outboards thru 12/31/2000 of up to $625. Wonder how that will play at OMC. No, I don't work for Mercury Marine, or anyone else in the boating business. I do like smaller boats. I'm in the process of getting a brand new leftover '97 11' Super Sport, and was looking to power it with a new 20hp Mercury outboard. Looks like I might save a few bucks on the motor now. |
