Just refinished my 75 super sport, with easy loader trailer, can some one give me advise on what to use to support the lower unit in the trailering position during long hauls, so as not to ding the paint, and do you lock the engine in the upright position and also use support rod, or what? Would really appreciate the come back, soon, we going boating this weekend....
Thanks again for all the help.
P.S. We do most of shopping at Farm and Fleet, would they have this there???

Hi Ron! Your 75 has a long shaft, is that correct? I have a short shaft on my 72, so I always trailer and store it with the motor in the lowered position. I'm concerned that trailering her around with the motor raised will put much stress on the transom. If you have 7 inches or more between the bottom of your motor and the ground, just keep her lowered when you trailor and store.
