Has anyone put a Mercury Trophy Plus 4-blade stainless prop on a 115 Merc? How'd it work out? Looking at a 13.75x19 to replace 12.75x21 aluminum Merc prop. Thanks.

I tried the original Trophy series props (not the "Plus" series) on my twin in-line 6 115HP Mercs and was very disappointed in them. But I have the heard the "Plus" line is redesigned and better. Nevertheless, they are a bass boat prop and I would still not recommend them for a Whaler. I sold mine on propswap.com.
But what I would recommend is the Laser II model prop, in 20" pitch. (about $365) Just remember when running one of these, the anti-cavitation plate should be 1" to 1 1/2" above water.
I am now running a pair of these on my 18 Outrage, and they are great props, much better suited to a Whaler and very fast, with tremendous holding power. You'll be very happy with one.
