I have an OMC stainless steel propeller that is leftover from my 92 Sport 13, I had a 50 Johnson on the boat and propped it for top end speed. I seperated the boat and engine and sold them off, but the prop is in my garage and in great shape. the size is
11 1/4" x 19", I'd like to sell it because I'm all done (and too old) to be blasting off the top of wakes in a 50hp potato chip. My next 13 is going to be mellow with a Nixon-era 25hp engine. If any of you guys are interested in it, email me at capterich@aol.com, my profile email no longer works.

MODERTOR"S COMMENT:

Notices of items for sale are really intended to be placed in the MARKETPLACE forum. There are just a few categories of postings on the FORUM, and For Sale or Wanted To Buy is one of them.

If information is out of date in your profile you can update it. The information in each user's profile is put there by the user and can be modified at any time.

Since this post is in the performance area, how fast did you get the 13 to go with a SS proped 50hp Johnson?-EasyE

I'm can't be sure Easy-E, because I never actually had it clocked with a GPS, but what I can tell you is that I ran alongside a Sea-ray that topped out at 43 m.ph, and I passed him! The best speed were always attained in a light chop, with the boat heading into the wind. Once I got here wound up and the motor trimmed out, I'd slide my butt as far aft on the bench seat as far as I could. I'd feel the bow lift up and accelerate, the engine grab a couple extra hundred rpms, and I was gone. I knew the engine wasn't just cavitating with air under the hull, because I would actually pull away from an opponent who I was locked in neck and neck with.
Nowadays, my back just can't take the washboard ride that a 13 produces with that kind of power, thats why I sold it. But I'd sure like to find this prop a good home, its useless to me now.

Erich and worked out the problem with his e-mail and profile--a little techno glitch that had to be rounded off.

As for a 13-Sport with a 25-HP OMC from the Nixon era, that's a great boat. My wife and her sisters used to water ski behind one when they were teenagers (and even into their 30's).
