Note that the alternator puts out 40 amps at 1,000 rpm! If it is similar to the alternator in my old Civic VX, it will be powerful and tiny and very reliable. Nice package. Those who thought it might weigh more than the Yamaha were correct, Yamaha 583 pounds vs. Honda 586 pounds. Any one have this on order?

Did anyone look at the photo gallery on the Honda site? It looks to me like some of the motors were photoshopped into the pictures.

They were a weird mix of choices. Checkmate, Mako etc. Without an OEM agreement Honda will have to rely more on refitting than their competitors. I have never seen a pontoon with a 225.
