Anybody have an idea of what a 1978 20' Outrage weighs in at? I tried to find the info in the forum, but don't know how to search the data....Thanks

Another source would be the "Buc Book". Most all marina Sales Depts have them for market value of used boats. These books also give the weights of boats. Hope this helps. Outraged

I have Whaler's original introductory, mid-year 1978 flyer on the 20 Outrage. It's called "Here comes the first Boston Whaler Vee Hull".

Weight shown as 1500 lbs. Retail price shown as $6880. Swamped capacity 4000# (Am I correct that this 20' boat weighs only 100# more than the new Montauk? - it's 3 feet longer and 6" wider, rated for 180 HP)

What else do you want to know?

Thanks Guys- I was told that this boat was one of the first ones made at the Rockland plant-sold through Nauset Marine on Cape Cod- I honestly think this rig weighs much more- maybe 3000 pounds with 150 Yama and fuel...
