thanks for the opinions on launching. the right thing to do is to get a new trailer. i've been pricing and for around $600 i can get a v-bunk where the boat will sit just above the fenders and for $1,100 i can get a trailer that sits lower between the fenders. obviously i'd like to spend only $600. either way it will be A LOT lower than it is now. what do you guys think?

Make sure you get a triler with keel rollers and bunks as the keel rollers take the bulk of the weight and the bunks essentially cradle and stabilize the hull. I know the trailer brand that is made in PA. has one for those models, as I checked into one for my Currituck, but chose to keep my old one. I believe they said about $1600. Jack.
