I have two new Yamaha 6.3 gal metal tanks. One draws fine and the engine runs great. When I plug the same fuel line in tank two it will run a short while then all of a sudden the engine power drops, the primer bulb caves in and the engine dies. I read the thread on the primer bulb arrow up thing. Had the same problem. Threw the Tempo junk out, (connections at the engine and tank with the Tempo parts never felt good). Went and bought a OEM Yamaha fuel line assembly, (mucho better), and I'm now doing fine with the one tank but can't make the other one work. Not drawing and getting gas. Siphon screen in tank clogged? Anybody ever remove the withdrawal tube to inspect for blockage? Right now I'm running with one.

If the bulb pumps up on the second tank, then dies after running a short while, you have a clogged vent.
