whitewater	posted 07-19-2002 02:33 PM ET (US)         I am looking for information on the ride and offshore performance of the 25' Revenge. Right now the boat I am looking at is powered with t/150's. Your comment are appreciated.
Eagleman	posted 07-19-2002 03:07 PM ET (US)             W/W, I recently purchased a 1990 25'Revenge W/T model with Twin 200 C/R Merc's with Whaler drive. I've had several other smaller Whalers prior to this Revenge. Just spent the last week on the boat and have to say we love the boat. The 25' gives you a great ride, great performance I kind of surprised myself as to how much we really like this boat. I like the W/T feature of this Revenge it makes access to the bow very handy. For our boating needs the over night accomodations are nice. Good Luck,Eagleman
Tates	posted 07-20-2002 09:59 PM ET (US)             I agree the ride is good, always dry.It took a little time to get the power tilt dialed in.I have twin 200 mercs CR . Generally cruise offshore @ 20- 25 Knots , I have found very few boats that can keep up to my cruise speed in varity of sea conditions. I generally burn 11 gal/hr. The weight on a Trailer is 8700 Lbs w 140 gal fuel.Good Luck.
