Does anyone have any experience with one of these? What needs to be done to make the steering work given the setback?

I've just installed one on my '63-16'er. No problems with any of the control cables. Generally there is enough slack for the couple of inches of set back. My engine is a 6 cylinder 90 hp Mercury and it weighs a bit. I did notice that the boat lists back a bit more than before although the ability to adjust the trim/tilt more than compensates for the shift.
