It says my boat should be over 60MPH!
That is far from true.
What about yours?

Mine worked out to within 1 mph of what I am getting.
Did you factor in all of the weight in the boat?

We can't see the exact algorithm that the Mercury propeller calculator uses, but it is based, of course, on the data you submit. If you submit data that predicts 60-MPH, that's what the calculator will predict from your data.

Real world factors, like hull bottom condition, windloading, unaccounted for weight, etc., will all affect the actual performance, as will the actual horsepower of the engine and the condition of the prop.
