Does anyone have performance numbers? Why did they up the HP from 400 to 450 in 2003? (4 strokes???)

It was the 4 strokes of course. The F225 Yamamercs are not much more HP than a 200 Opti and I am sure they wanted to be able to offer the additional power package.

Yeah i was pretty sure anout the HP rating, but OOHH the weight. The 25 Contender can take twin 250HPDI's but they won't put twin F225's on it because the scuppers won't drain right. Just kinda wondering.

I do want performance numbers though.....PLEASE

Did'nt you ask this SAME question on the Hull Truth?

Contact Whaler customer service, they'll be delighted to tell you.
