Perry -

I belive you have a prop made by Michigan Wheel Corporation (www.miwheel.com)

Their Web site can be very helpful, and has a PDF catalog with tons of information (and is where I found the information to follow re: your prop).

I just purchased a new prop for my '95 Evinrude 70 HP, and bought a Michigan Wheel brand (Vortex), so I've already done a lot of the research.

I believe you have a Rapture series propeller. The numbers you posted indicate that it is a stainless steel, 13 1/4" dia x 17" pitch, made for a Force, Chrysler or US Marine engine rated at 70 - 140 HP and made between 1977 - 1989.

Your post did not give information on where this prop is - on your boat already? If you are looking for a reference guide to put the proper propeller on your boat, you can fill out the "prop it right" form on the company Web site, or simply e-mail their customer support via the Web site. They are very helpful.

Hope this helps.

By the way, for those interested in a primer on props, the catalog (PDF) has some great upfront information to help you wade through terminology, etc as you prepare to purchase a replacement, or back up propeller.

Good luck.

Dave

Dave, thanks for the reply. The prop was for sale on ebay. It sold for $66. I wanted more info on it before I placed a bid but Michigan wheel isn't open on weekends and the auction ended Sun. I'm looking to replace the 13.25 17 aluminum prop that came on my 16' Dauntless (Honda 90). The 17" pitch aluminum is a little too big and a stainless 13.75 15 I tried gears it a little too low. Honda makes a 16" pitch stainless I may order.
