Which C-Map for SF Bay?

I'll finally be taking ownership of a 99 Outrage 17, and will be purchasing a C-Map NT based GPS as a navigation aid. As there are a 6 L+ local maps for the SF Bay area, can some of you Bay area salts recommend one or two maps that would be good initial purchases for the GPS? My understanding is that there's overlap in maps, but differences in scale (1:20000 vs 1:868000) in the areas covered. I'm buying mail order, so the dealer (in Fl) isn't of much help in map selection. Here are my boating areas in order of frequency:
North Bay to Angel Island/Alcatraz

C-Map NT has a chip that has all the areas you are refering to. In fact, it pretty much has all the west coast I think. I have this chip but it is a year old. I think they have an update. I have fished all the areas you have listed except Monterey and the charts are detailed and very accurate. I will e-mail you the number of the chip.

I took your advice on a single chart and went to the C-Map site. Looks like the Wide+ map covering Monterey Bay to Cape Flattery is the one to get. The Map # is M-NA-C602.
Thanks for the pointer.

You beat me to it. When I read your post it was late and I was holding my new born son ( a definite handful) and typing with one hand.
The big chart shows everything, you will be amazed what is on it.
Now that you gave me the number I will pursue getting an update if one exists.
