There are three adjustment screw areas in line on port side...need to adjust down. I was hoping there were semi-lamens instructions here or maybe someone can fax or post shop manuel step by step on how to ...thanks

They are air-fuel mixtire screws so do not touch them. There is no idle adjustment on these. You adjust the butterflies to raise/lower the idle. In your case you would probably open them to cause less suction and decrease gas flow. You need to adjust both. This is what we refer to as a synch(synchronize) and link(linkage) adjustment. Not hard to do but boat needs to be in the water and warmed up. Most 2 strokes will idle high on ear muffs due to less back pressure on the exhaust.

crap, already screwed with them. Once I realized they were not helping I replaced to original position... I guess i may have to post a future request on these if I have now lost my higher wot rpms.

If you set them back to where they were you should be close. Once you get the idle figured out, then adjust them to where it sounds better but should only be a 1/4 turn in either direction or so.
