I have a 1992 90-HP Yamaha on a 16-SL dual console. The prop looks bent on one [blade]. Any recommendations for a new prop that is strong/Fast? Live in San Diego, seem to catch myself in kelp quite often. Someone mentioned the chrome dual props. Are these ok for this outboard?
Thank you!

Using a propeller which has bent or damage blades is a bad idea. The unbalance from a damaged blade will cause vibration. This could damage the seals on the lower unit.

A "strong/Fast" propeller sounds to me like a stainless steel propeller.

"Chrome dual props" are not really chrome, they are probably stainless steel, and they are called "duo-props."

As far as I know the duo-prop design is not applicable to your 90-HP 1992 Yamaha. A duo-pro propeller requires two propeller shafts that are coaxial and counter rotating.

I would recommend you replace your propeller with a Stainless Steel Yamaha OEM propeller of similar size to the original.
